Reasons behind unanswered prayers?

Hosea 4:6 reads,” my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou has rejected knowledge”. When people reject knowledge they perish in ignorance, lack, hell fire and the devil takes advantage of them. We are continuing on the series for this month, which is your month of exploit. Exploit means digging deep, searching for what you don’t know. To search for blessing, breakthrough, healing and promotion. 

Many are ignorant. They don’t want to buy the idea of knowledge. They don’t want to study or do new things. Once you remove ignorance testimonies will abound in your life, blessings will adorn your life and things would workout for your good. Hallelujah.

Are you having effective prayer? The Bible says that the prayers of a sinner is an abomination to God. God does not honour, accept or listen to the prayers of the sinner. When your prayers can’t cross the ceiling it means heaven is not open to you. God cannot hear you because you are not departing from the sin that separates you from the God Almighty. This power of sin which you are not able to break, which have dominated your life and held you captive, Jesus made a public show of it , tore it apart, discarded it and triumphed over it, breaking it down and removed you from every captivity and stronghold of Satan the devil. Hallelujah

If you are suffering from the hands of your enemy the devil and you see that your prayers are not being answered. It is as a result of ignorance of the word of God. Today I am here to fire you up to break the hand of  of what’s holding you down. To have every of your declarations to heaven granted. So you can walk triumphantly like Shedrach Meshach and Abednego. That made King Nebuchadnezzar say to them, where is that your God. Your God is the Almighty God. 

There is a scenerio that happened during the time of Joshua. After the death of Moses, the servant  of the Lord. It came a time that the Lord appeared unto Joshua saying, “Moses my servant is dead, now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou and all these people into the land which I do give unto them even to the children of Israel (Joshua chapter 1). God has chosen every one of you to possess your land and inheritance but you need to do something. Shake your body, rise up and be prepared for the battle. There is a battle. There is a fight to possess your possession. Without war, you cannot possess your possession. Don’t run away from war. Be ready to fight war against the enemy of your life. 

There is God that answers by fire. Prophet Elijah said let the God that answers by fire be our God. And it came to pass that God answered Prophet Elijah by fire. Joshua is the son of Nun. He was the servant of Moses. When they got to the River of Jordan God called Joshua and charged him to move on and possess their posession. We must join hands to build because tomorrow it might be your turn to lead just like Joshua. Joshua’s next encounter was when they crossed the Jordan river. A great man with his army stood in front of Joshua. Then Joshua went to him boldly and asked who he was . And the man said, “I am the angel of the Lord the captain of host and I have come” and he ordered Joshua to remove his sandals and come closer to him. And Joshua pulled of his sandals and bowed to worship. Heaven is all about humility and worship. Joshua worshipped the captain of host and the captain of host said that he has now come for the battle. 

Many of you struggle to get answers to your prayers but Joshua is like you and I . Joshua followed, learned from and honoured his leader. He depended on God. Do you have these qualities. If not maybe that’s why your prayers are not answered. Your sin has separated you from the Lord. And when you cry, God of heaven does not hear you.

Let’s read Joshua 10:10,” and the Lord discomfited them before Israel and slew them with great slaughter at Gibeon. .......and it came to pass as they fled before the Israelites that the Lord cast down great stone from heaven upon them and they died and they were more which died of hailstone than they which the children of Israel killed “

It came a time that Joshua was faced in battle with the Ammorites. The Ammorites are a hardened army.  God rained down hailstone to slaughter the Ammorites. God of heaven was fighting them. I prophesy to you the God of heaven will rain hailstones on your enemy. He shall discomfit your enemies. The Lord will break to pieces every attacker of your life. Every one that says you will not succeed. May the Lord slaughter everyone that has taken your name to voodoo. May hailstone, thunder and lightening of the Lord destroy them as they go for their meetings. Holy Ghost fire pursue them and burn them. Let the war machine of God by the captain of host that worked with Joshua begin to destroy every enemy, contender, manipulator of glory, every stealer of blessing, every oppressor, whatever name they are call themselves. Amen.

The Bible says declare a thing and I will bring it to pass. Joshua 10:12 reads, “ then Joshua spoke unto the Lord when the Lord delivered to us the Ammorites and he said before the children of Israel, Sun stand thou upon mount Gibeon and thou moon stand still at the valley of Agalon. And the Sun stood still and the moon stayed until the children of Israel had avenged themselves upon their enemy”

So let’s pray. Call on the sun, moon, stars, thunder and lightening. They are all war machines. Call on them to discomfit the enemies of your life. Those that wage war against you, your family, your destiny. Let us pray
