Maintain Your Glory

Topic: Maintain your glory. Part ll.

You know the story of King Saul. He had the glory to be the King. He was ordained by prophet Samuel to be the King of Israel. If God has given you glory you have a responsibility to maintain that glory. It's like when you buy a house or a car and you don't maintain it, it will lose value. You have a responsibility of keeping your God-given glory, shining. King Saul felt he could also be a prophet, leaving his role as a king and went to the to offer sacrifice. This is something he is not supposed to do, it is the job of the Prophet. He did it because people were pressurising him due to Prophet Samuel's delayed arrival.

  Immediately he finished the sacrifice, Prophet Samuel showed up and ask them what he had done? He replied the Prophet saying that he waited for him for so long so he decided to offer up the sacrifice. God forbid! It is dangerous to do what God has not asked you to do. You must understand that God does not back whatever you do outside his command and precepts. God has his principles, He is the maker of heaven and earth and He has commanded us to be obedient to His words. His Angels hearken to the word of His voice. God has given us angels to take care of Us in every area of need and they only respond to the word of God. Brethren, I want to encourage you to work with the Holy Ghost, listen to the voice of the Holy Ghost and meditate on the word of God everyday just as Joshua said that he and his household shall serve the living God. Is this your testimony or are you looking for God somewhere else, is your one leg in God and another leg somewhere else? I say this to encourage you, God will not back anything outside his precepts. If you want your glory not to be trampled upon, if you want God to go behind you, before you and round about you. Do not do what King Saul did. King Saul disobeyed the injunction and commandments of God and did what the Prophet is supposed to do and because of this, his Kingdom was taken away from him. I say to someone today are people pushing you, pressurising you to do something bad, stand your ground and resist them that they can't destroy your glory or destiny. Hallelujah! Do not let people pressurize you to do anything that will harm your glory because on judgement day, they will not stand for you before Jesus. That day you will give account of your own life, every careless word that you spoke, every action that you took.

King Saul was a man anointed by God to be king but he couldn't wait, he couldn't exercise patience for the man of God to come and offer sacrifice. 1 Samuel 13:1- 14 reads, "Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel, Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent. And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear. And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal. And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven. When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits. And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling. And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee."

Your take-home today is that you have a glory and have a role to maintain that glory. People will come to talk you into things. Saul was pushed to offer sacrifice when he saw his soldiers leaving him. People of God I beg you do not do anything outside the will of God, don't let anyone pressurise you. If it is a few people that support you, keep doing what God has called you to do. Do not allow situations make you to walk away from the protocol of heaven. Saul veered off and his Kingdom, kingship of his family was taken away. It affected not only him but the generations after him. I've come to say to you do not allow anyone to take the glory of you and your children, born and unborn. Your destiny is attached to their lives, do not let the pressure of men and women, boys or girls, take you away from the precepts of God. If I'm a woman that wants to go wayward, I have gotten a lot of invitations to come so they help me do this, get this and get that. But I say to myself, as long as I live, I will never covenant myself with satanic kingdoms. And God sitting in heaven is laughing and said to me because of you, your generations born and unborn will serve me all their lives. I don't know who God is using me to speak to right now, whatever bad company or association that you have joined, please come out of them. It will not only destroy you but generations after you. God is saying today is your day of Deliverance. Today is the day of your unprecedented miracles. Ancient secrets that guarantees a victorious life. Do not let no man or woman to push you to move away from what God has asked you to do. Do not do anything outside God's precepts. Stand still, you will see the salvation of the Lord. Stand still, you will behold the glory of the Lord. Stand still, you will know that God is not a man that can lie or the son of man, that He should repent of His word. Has He said it to you? Hold on to his word, you will receive a miracle. I've come to encourage somebody here today, arise and shine for the light is come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. The end of your suffering has come. Receive it, in the name of the Father. Receive it, in the name of the Son. Receive it, in the name of the Holy Spirit. Amen
