Topic: Tear Down Every Wall of Evil Livestyle 

Every problem facing your life must bow in the name of Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ has taken the key from Satan the devil and all his accusations against your life have been laid to the cross. At the name of Jesus Christ every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is the Lord to the glory of God the Father. Today service is to awaken you to the realisation of your lifestyle. 

People experience brokenness as a result of not giving their lives totally to Jesus Christ and also their lifestyle. Some people have smoking lifestyle, others have drunkenness lifestyle and many of us have inherited bad lifestyles from where we come from and always hearing from people around us. So our thoughts have been corrupted by evil making us not to be able to radiate the power of God around us and this has put many of us in captivity. Therefor this morning, I am right here to encourage you to tear down every wall of evil lifestyle and bring them under the captivity of the Almighty God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. One of the instruments you can use to destroy demonic lifestyle which is always bringing you down in your life is the renewing of Your mind everyday.

God renews the day for you to enjoy fresh air. God is so faithful to everyone of Us. He renews us, He renews the weather, He renews the water, the air and many other things which He renews and refreshes. The Holy Spirit is telling you today to renew your mind. 

Romans 12:2-3 reads, "and be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of Your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say through the Grace given unto me to every man that is among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think but to think soberly according as God has dealt with every man a measure of faith" 

Ephesians 4:22-24 reads, "and ye put off concerning the former conversation of the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust and be renewed in the Spirit of Your mind and that ye put on the new Man". 

What does the Bible mean by the old man here? It refers to your sinful nature. What makes the flesh lust over things of the Earth is the old man. When you put on the sinful nature you are your own god. God is not ruling over your life. Your god is yourself and rulers of the world, which is Satan. 

Romans 7:18 reads, "for I know that nothing good dwells in me that is in My flesh. I have the desire to do what is right but not the ability to carry it out". 

Another question is, who is the new Man? Jesus Christ is the new man. The new man that comes with his righteousness. So the Bible is saying that after you have rejected the old man through your confession that Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior and surrendering your life, entirety and nature to Jesus. Immediately, you have put on the new Man. You must learn how to put on the new Man every now and then because the old man will always try to raise his head up. He wants to see how you will react, pushes you every now and then, no matter the position you occupy, whether pastor, deacon or a new member. 

Dr Mike Murdock once said that if you say you do not have an enemy, he would buy you a house then you will know whether you have an enemy or not. The same happens if you buy a car. The old man is always there waiting for an opportunity to rise up. And the Bible admonishes us to always renew our mind. The Bible wants us to forgive and forget but some people are not able to forgive and forget. They keep on reviving, resurrecting and raising the old man. The old man will make you to revive the Old wound which will never help you. This is how Satan uses the old man to torment people's lives. His job is accuse you and raise up the old man that was in you, so you won't be able to work in the power of the new Man. The new Man puts the old man in subjection and this can only happen only when you renew your mind. As God renews and refreshers the day, we are to renew our mind. This new man that you have embraced you must cherish him. You must obey him. You must follow his ways otherwise the old man will continue to dominate your life.

Say this, " the old man I command you to get behind me, I am renewed in the name of Jesus Christ". The Bible says we should put on the new man which after God is recreated in righteousness and true holiness. This is where God wants us to be. Hold on tight to the new Man. The new Man is taking you to eternity, destiny and transforming everything around you, strengthening you day in and day out. The new Man has a great job to do in your life. Wherefore putting away lying, speaking every man truth to his neighbour for we are members, one and another. Be ye angry and sin not and let not the sun go down upon your wrought. 

Many of us are angry, this is our major weakness. The Bible says you can be angry but not to the extent of committing sin. Anger can happen to you but put it in a bag and through it in the trash. Do not always walk in your anger. Say this, " I will trash every spirit of anger in my life, in my mind, in my brain, in every part of my body. Every spirit of anger I command you to bow at the name of Jesus Christ". 

The Bible went ahead to recommend your take-home from this message in Philippians 4:8 . It can set you free from every bondage of the devil, and it reads, " finally brethren, whatsoever thing that are true, that are just, whatsoever thing that are honest, whatsoever things that are pure, whatsoever things that are lovely, whatsoever things that are of good report, whatsoever thing that are of virtue. Think of these things". 

The old man can be defeated through these principles. Think of these things, work with these things. Renew your mind with things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report and having virtue. Hallelujah!
