Setting the Stage for a New Beginning

Pastor Daniel’s Sermon on Jan 28, 2024.

Turn your bible to Isaiah 43:9. “Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”

The God of new beginnings is here to help you set the stage and help you accomplish your plans this year. The Lord is saying that He will do a new thing that will make you marvel. Every impossibility shall become possible because of the anointing of the Lord. Because you have set a stage to do exploit and have obeyed the Lord, He is saying everything that seemed impossible last year shall be possible this year. That’s why the scriptures say, if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Maybe you were unproductive last year and your situation is such that people conclude you cannot make it. You have ran from pillar to post thinking to get out of your dryness. The Lord is saying that He is going to make you a fountain of life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 

God can turn the table against your enemies. Prophet Elijah was used to deliver the children of Israelites from the captivity of Satan the devil. There was dryness in the land. However, when prophet Elijah came to set the stage by rebuilding the broken altar. There was deliverance. You too decide to repent from your sins, make up your mind to serve God. Then it shall be well with you. Your wilderness shall be turned to fountains of blessings. The barren shall not be barren anymore. The expectation you have this year shall be fulfilled. You shall never labour in vain. 

The Lord said to Prophet Habakkuk in the book of Habakkuk 2:1-4,

 “I will stand on my watch and station myself on the rampant. I will look to see what he will say to me and what answer he shall give me. Then the Lord replied,”write down the vision and make it plain on tablet, so that the hearer may run with it. For the revelation is for an appointed time. It speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it. It will certainly come and not delay. See  the enemy is puffed up. His desires are not uprightt. The righteous person shall live by his faithfulness” . The righteous shall live by faith. 

This year, we have laid down the tablet, laid down the vision. We have put them together and we have sought the face of the Almighty God. That He may give us the understanding to run with a good plan. God will give you a good plan. God will give you directions. God will visit you and make things that weren’t working to start working. Every impossibility shall become possible.. Write the vision down, make it plain upon a table, so that he that reads it may run with it. If you have a business, write down your plans. God is a God of new beginnings. Make your plans plain, draft your budget and everything you need to do this year so that the God of heaven may cause them to happen. If you are to build a house this year, begin to make the plan, lay it before the table of the Almighty God. Then give it to a contractor to build the house. God is saying to you, if you need a job, prepare your resume and submit it to available companies. Whomever that sees it and reads it invites you for an interview and you will get the job. Those of you that want to marry, begin to look around for a young damsel that you will love and cherish as your life partner. If you want to buy a car, go from dealer to dealer and select the car you want, write it down and lay it before your holy altar and the God of heaven will help you purchase it.. God will supply your needs according to His riches in glory. 

Many people don’t have the discipline to write down their plans. They lack focus. They make plans today and will not follow it. They look for jobs in one or two places and then they get discouraged. God wants you to remain focused. And God will bring every of your plans to fruition. And Elijah said to the people how long will they be between two opinions. That if God is God serve Him. If Baal be Baal, serve Baal. You have to stand strong to serve the Almighty God. Remain focused on Him because the God of heaven is watching you. To see whether you will be moved by the situation you see. That is why He says to you that the just shall live by faith. In the book of Peter, the bible says that a time shall come, a perilous time, a time that things are in disarray and people are going weary. Those that know their God shall do exploits and those that trust in the Lord and rejoice in their Lord. A time shall come what you know how to do will not help you and your faith and trust in God is what will sustain you. God shall be the source of our blessing. God shall supply all our needs. He will bring our expectations to pass. The just shall live by faith. This is why you must build up a strong faith. Jesus said to the disciples, if your faith shall be as small as a mustard seed you shall say to that mountain be thou moved and be thou cast into the sea and if you don’t doubt in your mind, it shall come to pass. 

God of heaven has put together this plan, direction for every one of us to follow. So that when you face trials, you will know how He turns the table around on your behalf that you may know that you are more than a conqueror. Defeat every enemy of your life like Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal and slew them. Hallelujah  

Set a stage and the God of new beginnings will bring every of your expectations to pass in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Say this. I am moving forward every month of this year. And every of my expectations that is upon the table according to the book of Habakkuk chapter 2 shall be fulfilled. The bible is a manual for your life that was documented by the people of old of the things God spoke to them through the Holy Ghost so that when you follow the book of law today you shall be successful and prosperous.  The just shall live by faith and so it shall be for you in Jesus name. Amen.
