Let God use you

The Bible says that faith comes by  hearing and hearing the word of God. Have you ever wondered, have you ever asked God's will concerning your divine assignment? Have you ever wondered, many a time you enter into a journey, you wonder did I really hear clearly that God sent me to this journey. Many a times you hear clearly because God spoke to you clearly you know it was the Holy Ghost that spoke to you concerning what you are doing but sometimes you begin to wonder, sometimes your mind goes astray and you begin to ponder and wonder, Am I actually doing what God has assigned me to do?

Today, we are going to discover it. Two men that were created by God that was born on this earth through the womb of a woman. One was a boy, David before he became king. The other one was Nayman, the servant of Elisha the prophet , these two categories of people represent those who are in the covenant of God. This month is a month of covenant. our father in the Lord has defined it very well for us. It is an agreement between  two people, an agreement between a man and a woman  that comes together to say I love you, I want to get married to you and they agree together and from that covenant, they start having children. A covenant is when two brothers agree to do business, one is going to be the managing director while the other one assists. It can be a covenant between a nation and another nation, coming to agree on a particular thing. That is how God Almighty entered into a covenant with man. When Adam and Eve was in the garden, God told them do not partake of a certain tree and the fruit that will come out of that tree and whatever that is in that tree do not partake, do not taste it. I've given you every other thing in this garden but this particular tree that is in the midst of this garden, do not touch it. In Genesis chapter 3:1-end. The story is about when God told Adam and Eve what they must not do and what they must do in this convenant. They both agreed. Adam said yes we will do it and when Adam left, may be to do some jobs on the other side. One of the creations of God called serpent came to entice Eve with questions. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God, doubt comes by hearing and hearing what someone that is on the other side is speaking. Who's is speaking to you? One of the creatures called serpent came to Eve to ask her a question, has God told you not to eat this fruit? Sometimes you will be on your own going about your business and somebody next to you will start asking you questions about your marriage, about your Christianity, about your business, if you are not careful how you speak you might open the door for the enemy to come. Eve was not careful. she did not pay attention to that question that was thrown to her . Many at times someone might be asking you, what is wrong with you? Why are you not happy? Why are you murmuring? Why are you troubled? That was the situation of the man called Adam and his wife called Eve. In his absence, one the the greatest being called serpent came to ask her questions. I'm sure if Eve has stood bodly to tell the serpent yes God has commanded us that we must not eat of this tree please don't let us discuss this. It is a no go area. These are God's instructions there's is no going back or going front. It is either we do it or we don't do it but she listened to more questions. I want us to understand that God knew us before he formed us in our mothers’ womb in Jeremiah 1:5, God told a man called Jeremiah, before I formed thee in your mother's womb, before I allowed your mother to conceive you, I knew you Jeremiah by name and I've also ordained you, what you will be. Jeremiah's destiny was already ordained, his destiny was already declared.

He has already been spoken to what he is to be even when he has not become it right in his mother's womb. That is why today we have come with a question. Many people have been asking us questions. I don't know what God has called you to do on this earth. The most important thing you must understand is John 3:16 that no matter where you are right now and what is going on with you, don't let any circumstance make you feel that God doesn't love you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son and whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. This is the foundation on your destiny that God so love you regardless of how life is with you now. Don't let the devil whisper to you that your destiny is useless, that you can never be anything, that you're already a failure because God has sent me as a messenger to remind you His divine purpose. His divine plan for you is LOVE. God loves you and God's plan for you is to bring you to your expected end. Whatsoever it's that, maybe starting a business that business is now functioning well right now, don't let the enemy tell you that you're a failure. That business, you learn the principle of God upon that business and what are the principle of God upon that business? My father Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel church said, there are two things in this earth. one is kingdom prosperity and the prosperity that comes with things people love to do by themselves. The prosperity that comes from the other side is not eternal. It has no eternal reward but if you want God to prosper you, you want God to establish you, you want God to transfer your success to your children and children children. You cannot succeed without the principle of God's word. What are the principles of God's word? The principles of God's word is yea and amen. Look at the man that was born in a very terrible religious family. The father of Abraham was an idol worshipper. Maybe you come from that type of family. Your  mother was an idol worshipper, your father is still practicing all manner of things but you love the law of the Lord but the circumstances surrounding you is making you wonder what to do, will I turn away from my family or will I allow my family to control me that was the situation of the Man called Abraham.  The word of the Lord came to him and said; move  from your father's house, if you remain in your father's house, my plan for you will not actualize, you must leave here and go to a place that you don't know, you must leave your comfort zone and go to a place that's uncomfortable where you and I will begin a new chapter of your life. You will no longer depend on your family circle and the things that you know how to do. You will surely depend on me, I will guide and lead you. when you fall, I will pick you up but the condition I will use and pick you up when you fall is for you to depend on me to obey my precepts, to obey my injunction and Abraham obeyed God in every step. When God told him to leave his brother Lot, let him go and you go your own. Abraham came out in the morning and told his brother Lot, you and I cannot fight anymore, your servant and my servant cannot fight anymore. Choose where you want to go. If you want to take anything, take whatever you want to decide, just do. Lot said to his brother, I will go where the greens are and Abraham told him to go. Lot thought that it is the grreen that makes the green to be sustained, he thought that it is his power and the power of his servant that will make him to have a sustained prosperity. He didn't understand that the prosperity that is eternal, that is everlasting, that is transferrable is the prosperity, that absolutely depend on the precepts of God. As Lot went away, he went to Sodom and Gomorrah. It was also Abraham that came to deliver him. It was also Abraham that prayed, please Lord save my nephew Lot.

Where are you right now in your work with God? Are you allowing what you're seeing, what you're hearing to move you away from God? I have something to tell you. A man called David refused to allow his sin to take him away from God. David was a king. He killed somebody's husband to marry the wife. When the secret was revealed David did not run away from God. He repented, he turned his face to the wall, he put ash all over his body like some of us today will be mad and angry and say, this your God, I'm not going to serve Him again. David knew that his kingdom and his kingship cannot be sustained except with repentance. When God sent prophet Nathaniel to rebuke him, David repented, regarding that he's a king, he turned his face to the wall and said God I'm sorry for what I've done and God said this man David is a man after my own heart. There is no man like my son David. He is a man even though he is in highly positioned, he knows how to humble himself before me, he knows how to be naked in the whole city and dance in the whole place because of his love towards me, he knows how to tell the whole world about who I am. Remember that David is the father of Solomon, the greatest King that ever lived. when David wanted to build a house for the Lord, because of the blood he has killed going to fight for war as a leader of Israel. God said no, David you have shed so much blood, you can't build the kingdom for me. I can't have a house that you build, for I will raise a stone after you. Your son after you will build me a temple. a magnificent temple that I will dwell and I will be pleasured. David accepted the word of God. He knew that when God says something, He will stand to His word. God is not a man that lies neither is He a son of man that repents. Whatsoever God says will surely come to pass 

2 Samuel 9:15 is the story of two kinds of people. These two kinds of people are people we need to consider because our God is a great, powerful and awesome God. He uses examples of people that have lived on this earth to remind us his will, plan and purpose because our God is a great mighty Jehovah. There's nothing that the Lord cannot do to anyone that loves Him with all their heart, mind and soul. That knows that with God all things are possible but with man it's impossible .

Saul in 2 Samuel tried to do everything to destroy David, but when David left, he didn't forget his family. David remembered the household of Saul, he asked a question. Is there anybody in the house of King Saul that is still living that I can show kindness? David was a man that knows truely that even when people do you wrong, even when they try to kill you and monitor your life, if you understand God's will and plan, you will never pay evil for evil.A child of the Most High God that knows that God lives in him or her will never pay evil for evil 

Today, someone in your family has done you wrong. someone in your place of work has offended you, they have tried to take away your job, they know that, that job is so dear to you, they keep manipulating all kinds of evil to see how you can fall. Now that the devil wants you to be angry the lord said I should tell you not to be angry. If you fight for your self God will leave you alone but if you allow God to fight for you, he will fight and the fight will be very victorious.
